Purley Park Trust is a charity that supports adults with learning disabilities. We’re not here to make a profit. We simply aim to give people a far better level of care than they can get anywhere else.
This also means that we don’t fritter away money and or waste time ‘marketing’ our services. Instead, we rely solely on word of mouth recommendations from people that know us and trust us to do a great job. As our mission statement says:
“We will be known for our integrity, our passion and our commitment to getting things right for each person we support”
The work we do is about people, which is why we always put them first. And that’s not just the people we support, but also the dedicated people that work here.
How we go about this every day is guided by the important and heartfelt values that we’ve collectively agreed and are driven by:
Improving Lives – We’ll quickly establish what is important to each person we support and then help them to make it happen.
Working Together – We’ll always strive to improve what we do, working hand in hand with colleagues and the people we support to make things better.
Respect & Dignity – We’ll be caring, compassionate and respectful in everything we do.
Compassion – We’ll listen, understand and learn. We’ll support people in the way that really works for them - and never forget they’re the only reason we’re here.
Everyone Counts – We’ll support each other to keep this a great place to work. We’ll also challenge each other to keep making us a better organisation.
Commitment to Quality of Life – We’ll be passionate, dedicated and determined to do an excellent job. We’ll always praise our colleagues when they’ve done something really well.
If you rely on us to look after someone you love, rest assured these values run through everything we do.
If you work here, your colleagues will always help and support you, based on these values.
