About us

Purley Park Trust is a charity based in Purley on Thames, near Reading. We've supported adults with learning disabilities around our local community, since 1948.

Being a charity is a crucial part of our values. We're not here to make a profit. We are here because of our commitment to our local community and to making sure the people we support get a better service than they would anywhere else.

The work we do is about people, which is why we put people first - not just the people we support but also the dedicated people that work for us. It's why we don't spend valuable money marketing our services - we rely solely on word of mouth recommendations from people that know us, trust us and have seen how hard we work to get things right.

That's why our Vision says "We will be known for our integrity, our passion and our committment to getting things right for each person we support"

My son Andrew has lived at Purley Park Trust for fifteen years and Yewbank for five.  He is content and settled in his life there thanks to the excellent care and support from the staff
